we use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through finchmod.com (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  we may use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Finally, we partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. if you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. your rights if you are in europe or canada
if you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.  If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through finchmod.com), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States. Afterpay does NOT generally work for shoppers outside of the USA.   in some instances credit card information from overseas addresses will not be authorized.  This is not something we have control of and is at the discretion of Shopify and our websites programs. we are not responsible for any duties or shipping charges that are added by Customs or any third party shipping agencies.

general conditions
most importantly it is the intention of finch and its employees to exceed your expectations.  This includes your online experience with finchmod.com.  we will do anything we can to go above and beyond for you!  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.  we have to right to refuse to help you with your knitting if you are mean or unreasonable.  you understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks.  meaning, WE CAN NOT SEE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!  nor can we use it at a future date to bill and/or charge you for future purchases.

you agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on finchmod.com through which the service is provided, without express written permission by finch modern craft collective. 

we are not responsible if information made available on finchmod.com is not accurate, complete, up to date or current. meaning, if something is unclear or seems to have an error, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to answer any questions.  we are not responsible if APPLE or any third party accesses your information from your device while shopping at finchmod.com
