I've always been drawn to creativity, whether as an educator, photographer, or fiber artist. My love for knitting started in childhood when my mom taught me to knit while I was growing up ski racing in Vermont. I've almost been knitting for 50 years!!
In 2005, that passion became scout's swag, where I combined color and photography with hand-dyeing yarn. It took off quickly. I appeared on Knitty Gritty and even landed a book contract. Life eventually pulled me away, and I stepped back in 2011.
Fast forward 16 years, two life-saving organ transplants, and grown kids later, I found my way back.
What started as a return has become something bigger. Over the last two years, I’ve built an incredible community of makers, collaborated with talented designers, and created yarn that feels as good as it looks. It’s connection, creativity, and yes, a little good trouble.
