I always love seeing what colors are trending and what’s new on the runway, but what brings me the most joy is choosing the shades that really speak to me. As I put this palette together, each color started to tell its own part of the story, and soon the whole collection pictured a cozy cabin in the woods in my mind. I imagined curling up by the fire while cold night air settled outside, with the northern lights shimmering in the sky through the window. Every shade in wanderlight was chosen to capture that sense of warmth, comfort, and winter magic. It's the kind of feeling that makes you want to pick up your needles and stay a little longer in the moment.

As I created this collection, I also knew I wanted to collaborate with a designer who could showcase this beautiful yarn. I did a deep dive into patterns and stumbled upon the Stripebuster pattern by Amy Gunderson. She was gracious enough to agree to collaborate with me! With each mini bundle, you will also receive a code in an e-mail for your Stripebuster pattern! She has some awesome stashbuster patterns if you don't follow her! The coolest part of this pattern is that you actually get FOUR different patterns, really. She has a short-sleeved cropped version, short-sleeved standard, long-sleeved cropped and long-sleeved standard!

I have done the math for the short-sleeved standard version, and for patterns XS-1X, you will need one mini bundle set and two skeins of obsidian yarn if you want to use the black as your contrasting color. I even have sparkle black yarn too! For sizes 2X-5X, you will need 2 wanderlight sets and 3 skeins of a contrasting color. If you want to make one of the larger sizes, I would love for you to reach out to me so I can try and help make that more affordable! I know hand-dyed yarn is expensive.

In each mini-skein bundle, you get 10 skeins of superwash merino nylon, 92 yards each which totals 1104 yards. When figuring out this pattern, you want your contrasting color to be half to yardage of the other colors.
